Kronos conducted a mini-survey (3 questions) CATI national standard on 25 September. The theme is
SOURCES OF INFORMATION ON ITALIAN :
as it turned the news is the main source of information on current , pulling all the others with 75.9%. The second are the national newspapers with just over 20% (if we consider national and local along with 27.3%);
internet by young people is cited as a major source 13.5% of cases against 5.8 of the total sample.
as alternative sources come into play all other media and significantly increase the mouth -family, public transport, with my colleagues-the free daily newspapers, internet newspaper and radio .
on total citations, that is, considering all the times in which they were regarded as the main source or alternatively, the news arrives at 91.2%;
internet is not affected very badly to 14.6% (47.2% and 13.1% of the national newspapers the local ones).
between women and men there is a substantial balance. The difference can be seen on some sources (just a different way of conceiving the information): women cite most often periodic (as the main source for 8% of women compared with 3.6% of men , which comes to 19.3% versus 6.9% of total citations) and word of mouth (5.6% as the main source vs. 3%);
men mentioning a bit 'more often Read more sources ie national newspapers , absolutely and in comparison with local newspapers, but that women mention a little more often.
for internet there is but little difference 6.8% to 4.8% of men against women.
than geographical distribution, the only thing that really catches the eye is that of the total citations cites the northwest internet in 24% of cases.
according to socio-economic , the people of higher class seem not to regard the word a source of information (the quotes 5% compared to 13.4% of total citations), or the periodic (7.7% compared to 13.4% in this case);
is very strong regarding the detachment internet (29.2% compared to the above 14.6%), national newspapers ( 65.5% versus 47.2%) and also the radio news (30.3% compared to 23.4%).
these people are the ones mentioning the less often news : remains at 80%.
